Combat Kidz
Combat Kidz is great fun and is aimed at children from age 5 - 9. We focus on creating a relaxed fun atmosphere, which is supporting and encouraging. Our main aim is to help all children build confidence and self esteem,
through participation in a number of sports and activities, such as Wrestling, Boxing, Thai Boxing and lots of team games. The main aim being to have great fun.
Our coaching programme combines physcial activity with good ethical values that aim to support family values and a respecful ourlook towards others.
We are also proud to have partnered with Kidscape, who are the UK's leading charity for the protection of children. We have created a joint anti bullying programme, called 'Knockout Bullying'. This ensures that we can teach key anti bullying techniques inline with a registered charity.
We welcome, encourage and support children of all abilities.
Combat Juniors
Combat Juniors is aimed at children from age 9 - 12. This programme focuses on a higher intensity to the training, but is also great fun
Once again we focus on building confidence and respect for others, combined with learning some great Wrestling, Thai Boxing and Boxing techniques.
This programme is for mixed ability and we help set individual goals and targets for everyone. We focus on getting the best out of each person, thus enabling each individual to find their own strengths, which in turn makes them feel confident in their own ability
Thai Boxing Women
A purely womens only class, focussed on the noble art of Muay Thai Boxing. This class focuses on all elements of Muay Thai Boxing including Muay Thai pad work, Hi-intensity Thai Boxercise, Self Defence, plus other activities to help you tone up and make you feel great.
Thai Boxing Fundamentals
A male and female adult class, mainly for beginners from the age of 13 and upwards. These classes focuse on all the basics involved in sport Muay Thai and traditional Muay Boran. We teach all the basic fundamental techniques and principals involved including striking, clinch work, footwork, throws and chokes. These classes are fundamental in moving up into the mixed ability class.
These classes are also great for people have been training for a while, as a continuos reminder and refresher of the basic techniques should be always included in your training. No matter what level you get to.
Thai Boxing Mixed
A male and female adult class, mainly for intermediate to advanced participants.
These classes focus on all elements of Muay Thai and Muay Boran. The focus becomes more on fluidity of techniques, advanced footwork,
combinations of techniques, spacial awareness and strategy. The intesity of these classes is very high, so not only do we focus on advancing
techniques, but we focus on a acheiving a much greater level of strength, conditioning and overall fitness.
Olympic Wrestling
A male and female adult class (Age 13 and upwards), mainly for beginner to intermediate participants.
Taught by well respected Olympic Wrestler Dani Vlad, who is at the top of his game and also a really friendly instructor.
These classes focus on all wrestling criteria from positions, transitions and superior techinques.
A really positive session that enables all abilities to train and progress at their own pace.
Sparring
The sparring classes focus on applying all the techniques which have been learned within a LIVE environment. Sparring classes are hi energy and great fun. The atmosphere is encouraging, as we work as a whole team and we encourage advanced participants to train and encourage the beginners and intermediates. The main aim is that all people benefit, not just the few fighters.
MMA Circuits
MMA Circuits are explosive hi intensity training sessions. The drills and techniques used are based on elements of Boxing, Muay Thai Boxing, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, plus other strength and conditioning drills.
These sessions aim to increase cardio and overall fitness and aim to reduce fat and increase muscular tone.
Personal Training
Personal training is for anyone looking to really advance their techniques, fitness and overall lifestyle.
Our personal training programmes are aimed at the individual, where we focus on helping set personal development plans and helping set realistic goals and targets. Personal training is proven to advance anyones techniques and overall fitness, as the whole session is focussed just on the individual.
