together between SPIKED Action Sports and Kidscape, the leading
anti bullying charity in the UK.
About Kidscape
Kidscape is committed to keeping
children safe from abuse. Kidscape is the first charity in the UK
established specifically to prevent bullying and child sexual abuse.
Kidscape believes that protecting children from harm is key.
Kidscape works UK-wide to provide
individuals and organisations with practical skills and resources
necessary to keep children safe from harm. The Kidscape staff equips
vulnerable children with practical non-threatening knowledge and
skills in how to keep themselves safe and reduce the likelihood of
future harm.
Kidscape works with children and
young people under the age of 16, their parents/carers, and those
who work with them.

The Aims
The knockout (KO) bullying campaign aims to raise the profile of bullying across UK schools and the UK public and deliver the message in easy steps.
The KO bullying campaign creates an awareness of what bullying is and its effects, but clearly focuses on the building of confidence as a key tool for preventative and post event outcomes.
The KO bullying campaign promotes the participation in urban and action sports to help promote the key values of social inclusion, building of confidence and living a healthy lifestyle. These are all key factors in helping people to be self reliant, feel good, feel confident and to help people respect themselves and others. The

Deliver a printed leaflet throughout UK schools 4
- Deliver awareness sessions throughout UK schools focused on
providing key information on bullying and taster sessions in defined
action sports 5
- Deliver confidence building courses for bullied children focused
on teaching children how to be focused, committed, how to build
confidence through setting goals and targets through participation
in action sports 6 - Provide
a bullying certification for coaches and instructors how wish to
align their training to an officially recognized bullying organization
